Em tempos idos (1990), eu e os meus dois irmãos Miguel e Carlos concorriamos na Sociedade Columbófila de Coimbrões com o nome de Irmãos Celestino, foram tempos fantásticos que agora sabemos dar o seu devido valor. Vivemos momentos inesquecíveis.
A evolução da columbófilia até aos dias de hoje foi enorme, tanto a nível da divulgação entre columbófilos temas que antigamente eram considerados os "segredos de alguns" como também a nível informático (Internet). Esta última é sem dúvida nenhuma o grande "motor" de informação de que tantos columbófillos podem usufruir e valorizar grandemente a sua colónia recolhendo e filtrando toda a informação disponível.
Após todos estes anos de paragem, resolvi e o meu irmão Miguel também, regressar, mas de uma forma gradual, o que aconselhamos a quem esteja a pensar enredar por este fabuloso desporto.
Aqui deixamos os nossos sinceros agradecimentos aos columbófilos amigos que nos ajudaram a iniciar ambas as colónias, Carlos Carvalho (columbófilo de Canidelo), Aníbal Abreu (columbófilo da Madalena), Torcato Ribeiro da Silva (S.J. da Madeira), Sousa Marques (Paços de Brandão), Cândido Regal (Madalena) e de uma forma especial ao Sr. Inácio Oliveira do C.I.C. (Centro Internacional de Criação de Pombos), que nos apoiou de uma forma entusiástica tanto a nível de instalações para os craques como de conhecimentos.
In gone times (1990), I and mine two brothers Miguel and Carlos in Sociedade Columbófila de Coimbrões with the name of Celestino brothers, they had been fantastic times that now we know well to give its due value. We live fantanstic moments.
